Through the 26th Peliti Seed Festival we want to give a voice to small farmers all over the world. Small farmers are the ones who save their own seed for next year.

Zero electricity technology.
Grinding our wheat in a stone mill.
Peliti, from the first moment of its creation in 1995, spoke but also operated with self-sufficiency and oligarchy in mind. The houses where Peliti was housed from 1995 to 2003 did not have electricity, as an option. Between 1999-2001, Peliti’s seat was in Sumak, in the Pomakhoria of the prefecture of Rodopi, where the entire settlement did not have electricity. Through this journey he gained many experiences and met people who plowed with a wooden plow like three thousand years ago, worked iron with fire like it was done thousands of years ago, etc. a lot. At the 25th Peliti Seed Festival in 2025 we will present you technologies that take the knowledge of our ancestors and adapt to our current needs but do not work with electricity such as solar clock, solar oven, solar dryer etc.
The Forest of Wishes in the land of Peliti
Coming to the 25th Peliti Seed Festival you can also look for “The Forest of Wishes” in the land of Peliti. In the forest of wishes, young and old can go. We enter the Forest of wishes with silence and respect. Here is the wishing tree. When you get close to it you will recognize it by the beat of your heart. Sit quietly at the wishing tree and ask it for anything you want. You should just be careful what you ask for. Because the tree has the power to help you satisfy your desire but has no judgment of what is good and what is bad. In the forest of wishes live the fairies who help the plants to grow. If you are lucky you might meet them. Don’t ask where is the wishing forest, your guide to find it is your heart.
Supporting vulnerable social groups
We collect food for vulnerable social groups, you can bring packaged food such as pasta, spaghetti, barley, rice, canned food, etc.
Gift bargain

Open your closets and storerooms. Take out things you haven’t used in the last year. Make room in your home and in your mind for new things to come into your life. During the 25th Peliti Seed Festival it would be closed
rygisi, free bargain, you can bring things you don’t need and get something you need. Leftover items will be distributed free of charge to vulnerable social groups.
Exhibition of folklore material.
Every year, as part of the Peliti Seed Festival, an exhibition of folklore material is also organized. Objects that have grown generations and generations and are no longer used today are exhibited for the younger to learn and the older to remember.
16:00 end of the 26th Peliti Seed Festival.
