A proverb says: “the agoi* awakens the agogiatis*”, so for me the destruction for the umpteenth time of the precious seeds of Peliti, of our homeland, led me to start the construction of the Peliti Seed Bank.
Peliti since 1995 until today has managed to change the image of Greece in relation to the traditional varieties of seeds.
It has managed to influence the situation in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey, Europe, African countries and in recent years it has affected the situation in the USA as well.
Despite these great successes, Peliti continues to lose valuable, rare and unique seeds that are in its possession.
It is this situation that led me to start, without having money, the construction of a building to become the place where it will host all this valuable material.
Today the masonry of the construction has been completed.
There is a huge financial debt and a big leap that will have to be made to complete this construction.
I address to you who you know and appreciate the work of Peliti,
I’m asking you to say a prayer for the completion of the construction of the Peliti Seed Bank.
I’m asking you to share this text with your friends.
I’m asking you if you can financially support Peliti.
The money needed is a lot, in the face of the invaluable value of the seeds that will enter this space is minimal.
In front of the thousands of people who have been supported by Peliti all these years it is possible.
Let us say once again that we can do it, we set the bar that the dream will reach.
We create our successes and failures through our thoughts and beliefs.
We have succeeded all these years, we still succeed today.
This building is a legacy for future generations.
Peliti’s bank account is with Piraeus Bank.

The building is made of stone, wood, marble and brick.
E.M. has been added to the cement.
The stone is handmade.
The marbles that have been used are from rubble thrown in the area.
Thank you for your love.
